Simon Bexfield, is a former IT consultant, recreational mathematician, enthusiastic mechanical puzzle collector and designer, keen woodworker, CNC enthusiast and inventor. He is a founder with his business partner Steve Nicholls of PuzzleShed Ltd who produce high quality, reliable 3D printers. Both have been using 3D printers to create intricate, interlocking, mathematical puzzles for a number of years.
Simon has been a designer all his life and his first mechanical puzzle printed in Nylon, “Perplexing Pyramid” was a Puzzler’s Award Top Ten Winner in the 2014 Puzzle Design Competition.
